Tim Roux
Tim Roux is a British writer, born in Hull in the North-East of England, a post-industrialised fishing town that is rapidly becoming quite a powerhouse of writing and music, much to everyone’s surprise. Tim worked in strategic marketing for a global corporation for 25 years before breaking his 30-year writer’s block in 2004 to publish “Blood & Marriage”, a series of short stories about a family in exile during a century of war, genocide and revolution. This was followed by “Little Fingers!”, a toe-curling novel exploring sexual morality, “Girl on a Bar Stool”, where a brand manager gets unwittingly ensnared in The Second Coming, “Shade+Shadows” about a charismatic healer with dubious but miraculous therapeutic techniques, “Fishing, for Christians”, which describes the world from a Gnostic Christian perspective, and “The Ghoul Who Once”, that recounts the tale of a twenty-something year old faced with a ghost who wants him to dig up her body. All six of these books interweave to constitute “The End of the World Sextet”. His seventh, and most popular book, “The Dance of the Pheasodile”, is the story of a London-based commercial architect who recovers from a hypnotic trance to find himself transformed into a penniless Hull gangster on the run from two local gangs, and with a ‘new’ wife who doesn’t like him much either. His current work-in-progress is “The Blue Food Revolution” about the travels and experiences of two people who are destined to become a couple in a seaside resort that worships a God-fish who visits the town annually.

Tim Kellis – Happy Relationships
Renowned Wall Street analyst Tim Kellis takes on what could be considered society’s biggest problem today, divorce. The journey that led to him tackling such a significant issue was both personal and professional. After a successful career that eventually landed him on Wall Street, Tim met what he thought was the girl of his dreams, only to see that relationship end with bitterness and anger. Pearl Robinson – God Inspired Writing
Pearl Robinson is a God inspired Poet/writer. She wrote her first poem at age sixteen. She believes that writing for God’s Kingdom is His will for her. Her writing began to blossom in 2003 while serving as a Children Ministry Leader at Everlasting Word Baptist Church. God inspired her to write the Easter poems for the kids that year. For the next year and a half she began to study God’s word, with a desire to be approved by God and to be able to rightly divide His word of truth. In December 2004 God inspired her to write the Christmas program for the kids. During that time God gave her a vision to write books for His kingdom. Her first book “A Collection of Christmas and Easter Poems and Skits” was published in 2005. During that year, God spoke to her again and told her to write another book. He told her to take her poetry to another level. He wanted her to help save and heal His people through poems, She listened and wrote as God minister to her. Hence, the beginning of “Stop! Look! Listen! God Wants a Change.”
Pearl has five other books she is currently working on. Messages From God, Mommy Can I Live, Life After an Abortion, A Visit With The Dead (a glimpse of Heaven and Hell) and a book of Spiritual Skits. Her next project will be writing a series of books reaching to our youth. Hopefully the parent will gain some knowledge from the series of books also. Pearl’s dream, desire and goal is to be a Best seller author for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For the Bibles says if we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our heart.
Writing is her passion. That passion coupled with her burning desire to lead people to God. She enjoys reading and writing poems for different occasions. She wrote, and read poems for Church Anniversaries, Pastor’s Appreciations, and Funerals. God has always challenged her to write from her heart and through her heart you will know that He lives in her. She made a promise to God to write only for His kingdom only. May you be richly blessed through her writing?

Stuart Aken – Stuart Aken
Stuart Aken, a writer born in the recently fertile city of Hull, on the north eastern coast of England, currently lives in a small market town in East Yorkshire. He has been writing for decades and, having finally decided his apprenticeship is served, is now putting his work before the public. His working life has been varied, mostly in management of one sort or another, but including farm labouring, press photography, graphic arts technician, travelling salesman and retail manager. Falling victim to CFS/ME in 2002, he now works part time for the local government authority, helping business people understand the vagaries of business rates.
His writing began in his late teens with illustrated articles for various photographic mags in the UK. He won a prize with the Radio Times for a radio play, Hitchhiker, which was broadcast by the BBC on Radio 4. His appetite for fiction writing thus sparked, he was persuaded by an agent to concentrate on further radio and television scripts. Many of these reached pre-production stage but, for various reasons, no more were broadcast. A lengthy spell of debilitating illness (not CFS) in his late 20s, stopped him writing for a while.
His first marriage ended after 18 years and his new wife, a supportive and loving woman, encouraged him to start writing again. He has had a number of short stories published and some success in short story contests, his latest being with the UK writing magazine, Writers’ Forum, for a sci-fi story called Rebirth, published in the January 2010 issue. Earlier this year, his first novel, Breaking Faith, was published, under the auspices of the UK Arts Council, by YouWriteOn. This tale of corruption versus innocence is set in the Yorkshire Dales, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, during the heat-wave of 1976.
He is now rewriting the first volume of a fantasy trilogy, untitled at present, which he describes as an adventurous quest set against a background allegory of organised religions and their flaws. Plenty of action combined with romance and philosophy. He will shortly be seeking a publisher for this work. He is also writing more short stories.

Genevieve Sawchyn –
I began writing four years ago, motivated by my need for quality fictional companionship. That was how I discovered my passion: I love to write. I have written three novels and am in the process of writing three more (one of which is my first foray into co-writing), two children’s stories and about a dozen short stories, two of which have been published online. I also write short articles for a Canadian newsletter for Clan Graham, and am excited to post the occasional (hopefully humourous) blog on here. My first novel, Under The Same Sky, is the second fastest rising Historical novel of all time on Authonomy.com, an author website created by Harper Collins Publishing. Please come take a read!
Under the Same Sky,
I graduated from the University of Toronto in 1986 with a Bachelor in Music in Performance (I played the oboe), then earned my black belt in Karate. I retired from music, then jumped into the world of advertising and promotions, in which I worked for ten years in various capacities. I have a very generous husband who lets me stay home and type until my fingers wear themselves out, and two beautiful daughters (12 & 9) who are good writers and even better people. I volunteer for both the Calgary and Halifax Highland Games because I have a mad obsession for all things Scottish, including actor Gerard Butler, kilts, pipes, brogues … you name it. I bet I can wear you out with my obsession. I also love coffee & baileys every morning, M&M peanuts and wicked, dry senses of humour.
