During the American War–the war we call the Viet Nam War here in the states–many of us boycotted Dow Chemical and it was forced to change many of the ways it did business. It’s much harder to impact on major corporations today–like Dow–because their products are integrated into so much that we use. Since I began Project Agent Orange with a few others from the USA and Viet Nam, we have been trying to find how we can effectively boycott Monsanto because they, like the present day Dow, have products that make it almost impossible to boycott. Finally, we have a list.
Can everyone who reads this please help us to publicize this list? If people begin not to purchase these products–though I know the one for GMOs is still one that will be very hard to do–Monsanto will have to change the way it does everything. After all, it worries only about it’s bottom line and little to anything else.
Here is the link to the products Monsanto has its hands in. Everyone reading this has our permission to copy, share and use the link in any way you like.
We also have a poetry link on the same boycott issue:

mh, none of the links appear when I click them. I’m not technologically savvy enough to know what the problem is, but I thought I’d let you know.

mistermuse,
I think you have to copy and paste them to go to the links.
Or try this one: Boycott Monsanto.
Thanks.

If I may (now that the problem is fixed), I suggest that this post be read in combination with your previous post of April 15 in order to provide fuller context.

Because of my involvement in Cancer Research when I was a return student at Wayne State University, I have never given our youngest daughter any soda pop with aspartame. Back then, it was said to have caused cancer in laboratory mice. I kept her consumption of these sugary sodas to a healthy moderation. She also was encouraged to drink planty of water and given orange slices at softball practices. She grew up to be a healthy adult. The oldest girl drank diet pop after leaving home and so did her sister who was about a year younger. Both developed kidney problems. The eldest had a bit of cancerous lobe excised from her kidney. She is now cancer free after 5 years. The second eldest lost an entire kidney that was enveloped in a weird type of sac. A person can live on one kidney for a hundred years provided that they eat healthy and drink water in many forms, including milk or lactose free milk and dairy products, juices, coffee and tea. Now most soft drinks use a sucrose(made from natural sugars) that looks and taste like sugar and aspartame is no longer used in the products we buy. Ambien was tried by four of us and did not work and gave us headaches, a sure sign that some ingredient was not right. However, many people are unaware of thse situations due to lack of education or just plain common sense,
