“Inappropriate. You are being inappropriate Larry.” Now this sounds like Larry whipped out something from his pants or cracked an obscene joke or flipped Carie Prejean the bird or swore. Larry did something far worse…he hit the wall. The wall is where the Bush Doctrine meets Sarah Palin…what do you think of the Bush Doctrine? It is where Dan Quayle misspells potato. It is Senators quoting the Declaration of Independence and calling it the Constitution. It is Sarah Palin saying she can see Russia from her back door. It is Carie Prejean on a book tour.
Carie Prejean..the fallen Beauty Queen who has become the darling of the far right with her strange incantations about free speech as her sex tape and nude photos shoot around the internet. The woman who proclaimed marriage should be for a man and a woman and then didn’t bother showing up at required events and then was fired from the pageant and then did the talk show circuit of Fox and Fox and more Fox and told everyone she was the victim of conservative woman oppression. Ok. She is riding the gravy train, but last night gave us a new low for American gutter culture surpassing even the guy who sold his kid down the river to get a reality show.
So there is Larry. He is talking with her and gets around to asking about why she dropped her suit against the pageant and what did she get? Obviously she got a lot. Cut to Carrie…vacant eyes, brilliant teeth, plastered smile. “That’s inappropriate Larry.” Larry persists. “You’re being inappropriate Larry.” She then begins taking off her microphone. Now we are all thinking about a teacher or a nun or some matriarch telling us that when we stuck our tongue out at someone or made a lewd gesture, the gong from above came down. “You’re being inappropriate Larry. Bad Larry Bad Larry. Go to your room!
Obviously this woman with her book and her ludicrous statements about being a role model for young women and claiming she has a story to tell or that she is fighting for free speech or to free conservative women from the shackles of Keith Obermann and the far left is absurd. She is a bimbo in the worst sense of the word. She has no idea what she is saying. She is not educated. She is being handled and told by lawyers to not answer questions about the money she received for dropping her suit and taking to the talk show circuit to sell her vapid book.
The horror of our culture is brought home in the saccharine smile and vacant stare even as she tells Larry King he is being inappropriate. We have created these people of absolutely no morals, no talent, who now people the cable channels and say nothing to us except this is how you make a million dollars. Do something really cruddy and then have someone write a book for you and then go on television and say absolutely nothing. Nothing. There is nothing for her to say because she has learned nothing. She is not an expert in anything, even media where she chastises an interviewer like a child for asking her the question that is very germane to her situation: if she is so sure she was a victim of freedom of speech abuses and has been wronged, then why did she drop her suit?
So I will answer Larry’s question for Carie. ”Well, because they paid me a bunch of money Larry and if you don’t have talent or education, but you have looks, then you have to take the money when you can get it because you and I know that my book and I will be yesterdays news in some garage sale a year from now.”
Now that wasn’t so hard. And it was very appropriate.

Yeah I saw that exchange on the news, I don’t blame LK I blame his producers, like he said they did not tell him that he was not supposed to ask certain questions and I believe him, but I do think that at times he is a bit weird and very condescending.
